I Have Come To Serve - Agunbaide
The APC candidate for the July council election in Eti-Osa East LCDA of Lagos State, Hon. Samson Agunbaide, has rekindled his determination to serve the people.
Speaking during an interview at the Sangotedo party secretariat of the party, Hon Agunbaide, revealed that he is a tested politician that knows where the shoes pinches the people of the Area.
We will look inward and see ways at which we could reduce flooding in the LCDA with a regular clearing of drainage and enlightening people on the dangers of blocking the drains.
They will be encouraged to stop dumping of garbage into the drains.
Additional buildings will be built in existing public schools to create a conducive learning environment for pupils in the schools.
Health is wealth, as such our healthcare system will be upgraded to provide the necessary impetus for medical personnel to carry out their constitutional responsibilities of providing qualitative healthcare system for the people.
Insecurity is gaining grounds because an idle hand is the devil's workshop, so, all hands will be on the deck to ensure that we productively engage our youths through vocational training programs that will equip them to add value to the productive chain of the state.
These have to be a joint exercise with the parents as parents will be encouraged to give their wards the necessary moral values that will help their wards to be good ambassadors of the society and also use their God-given talent to add value to nation-building.
There will be a synergy between the government and various security agencies to reduce crime rate in our LCDA while operational vehicles among other security equipment will be provided to ensure the safety of lives and properties. It has been observed that community policing is the best approach to effective security network.
We will do everything possible to meet up with the expectations of the electorate by providing the much needed environment they need to expand their business.
Efforts will be made to encourage creativity within our youth, resource persons will be invited to encourage them to explore their potential and we will also discourage cultism because it is a menace that has posed a greater damage on the path of progress.
We will produce the highest numbers of entrepreneurs in our LCDA through ICT training, vocational training among other programs that will elevate the status of our youth.
I will like enjoin the political class in the LCDA to give me the opportunity to upscale the LCDA as one of the best in the state.
